What was your first job?
As I was walking my dogs this morning, I started thinking about my #firstjob and how crazy (and exciting!) my career journey has been since then.
I started babysitting for friends and family at a very young age, but my first "W-4 job" was a birthday party host at a laser tag arena. It was a RAD first job, I've got to say!
Since then, I've held various roles including: barista, host, server, bartender, marketing intern, PR intern, copywriter, digital communications manager and of course, my current role as a Jobcase community specialist!
To this day, I still leverage skills I learned in that very first position such as customer relations, time management and the ability to effectively communicate. Of course those skills have been refined and approved upon since then, but the foundation was laid waaaaaay back then :)

My first job was an ice cream scooper!🍦It taught me time management but also that I love working with people!
First Elyssa you have no waaaay back then. I painted window trim when the dinosaurs let me. Just by being neat and careful got me plenty of work. Good quality work speaks for itself. You know, I hate to paint!! Thanks,Ford
