I have applied at my home town McDonald's and still haven't gotten a call back. I think I've applied probably three different times.

Same here. I finally just gave up and I am going to go down and see the manager in a few days if I don't get a call back by tomorrow.

Don't feel bad, am the same only it's not Mcdonalds but most of the companies that I had applied to, didn't and haven't got any word from them yet.
I'm having the same issue and when I go in to check on the app, they say they never got one. Feel like I'm wasting my time filling out applications that aren't even getting to the company.
