I've been working in child care for the last fourteen years will this hurt me. Will employees not even consider me for other jobs what can I do to improve my chances know that I want to do something else
Hi Colette: This is a great question! I think if you present your resume in a certain way, you'll probably be able to get a lot of interviews with employers outside of childcare. For example, taking care of kids requires a lot of organizational skills, multi-tasking, energy, etc. These are all skills that employers really need, so I'd highlight that on your resume first.
