Job Coach

If your career has been in the teaching field, how can this be transferred to a Supervisory or a Managerial position in business or industry?

Project Manager at At T Services T Staff

Your current Resume should reflect that of the job you want to get in to. Example,,, say I am an Office manager and I want to get into Project Management. My Resume of course would be title Office Manager,,, but all of the job skills below it would sound as though I was a Project Manager. So if you want to get into Student Services (my daughter was in the field for awhile),, then your Resume should sound as though you are already IN that field. HR dept & Hiring Managers want to know you actually have the skills they are looking for. Also using Key words found in the open position job description into your own Resume works the best, since HR dept can get hundreds/thousands of applications they cannot read every single one, so many of companies use Software programs that pick out those Key words so your Resume would get flagged for special attention, will be read & a possible interview.

Hi Karen. I read your reply about being a Coordinator of some sort on a college level. I have seen advertisements for a Disability or Student Service support at colleges. This is to help students with disabilities who may need accommodations or modifications. There is also a position of a Testing Coordinator to provide assessments to see if students qualify for accommodations on a college level. I hope that this is helpful and legible. I am posting this without my glasses. Lol. Good luck!

Yes being a job coach would be so rewarding and exciting. I had a life coach when I was attending school and this was helpful and inspiring to me. I have a Masters in Human Resources and this is a good fit for me.

I used to be a teacher so can be tricky, it depends on your field of interest. What industry do you want to work in?
