Project Managers or any type of technical Telecom opportunities
Is others having a hard time finding, in Telecom, a good job or even a interview. Below is my summary but I never in my entire career really had this issue and I am trying to not let it get me down but I hopefully others are not having the same experience. I thought it was worth asking...I have almost 18 years of Project Management experience with most projects have been in the Telecommunications field where I have lead client engagements with successful delivery on various types of projects including Quality Assurance Testing, Network engineering, designing, provisioning, installation and engineering Quality Assurance, communication and IT Software development. I have managed high complexity projects where communication is key with internal and external customers, PMO, IT software or associated project engineer and technical staff. Manage internal and external processes and host meetings for status updates including reporting and tracking issues and defects to resolution. Manage, forecast, schedule project deadlines with attention to budgets. Lead and assist in process improvements by building cohesion in a positive work environment. Sufficient with Microsoft products, HP ALM and have worked projects in an agile environment assisted in scrum reports, updates and meetings.
Hi Stephen: Sorry to hear about your job search troubles! Have you tried following up on all the applications you're submitting? Try calling or emailing employers to see if they've received your application, and if they'd like to schedule a time to discuss with you. Have you tried using a recruiter/headhunter? Since you have a specialized skill, I think a recruiter could be a useful tactic for you.
