Zack:

Submitting applications does not automatically mean you will be contacted for an interview. If an employer sees interest in your application, they might reach out to you for a potential opportunity, but this is not guaranteed.

I would suggest that for any positions you apply for, wait 1-2 weeks to see if the employer will contact you, and if they don't then you will need to contact them to follow-up on the status of your application (including McDonalds). This will help you stay persistent during your search.

As a reminder, McDonalds holds open interviews which might be the best course of action for you to take. You can contact the manager at your location of choice, and inquire about the dates/times they hold the open interviews, and make plans to show up.

Best of luck!

Zack, You have the look of a "go -getting"young man....neat, properly dressed, and a very pleasant expression....Not knowin your age, it is hard to encourage you to appy to places other than fast-food, as the rules about alcohol service are so varied. There are so many positions available in the restaurant business, and so many to choose from..apply in person to any of them. not just the chains ...some will hire on the spot. You have a wonderful up-coming future, my friend!!

Same for me and at multiple locations and I haven't had a response yet. But it depends on the job. I applied at buffalo wild wings over 2 months ago and no response. It varies job to job

Hi Zack, you can definitely call to follow-up but if the McDonald's is in your area you might even think about walking in. I know the McDonald's in my area, schedules interviews on the spot as they did with my step daughter. Good Luck Zack

Your best bet is to go down there in person and ask for the hiring manager
