How is your customer service?

This article lists 5 examples of bad customer service. Have you experienced any of these?

After nearly 50 years of business life I realize that the customer is seldom right, yet we must always treat him/her as if they are absolutely right. Failure to do that gives them reason NOT to do business with you and find someone else to do business with. Besides, without that customer none of us have jobs or a business. But agreeing with them is only half the battle - now we have to SATISFY them, or we give them another reason to find our competitor - who is actively looking for them. Finally, consider how much it cost to get a customer; retaining them is a whole lot less expensive and highly satisfying.

This is my philosophy toward customer service. A bible verse out of the Book of Mark, You must be wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.
