What experience do I need to be hired as a delivery driver?
Know yourself and stay honest as possible, because they are checking you and your honesty. Stay safe and keep on trucking whatever you drive.

You may also be required to have a valid DOT Medical card so having that before applying could be a plus
Depending on what type of vehicle your driving you need to have the proper license to operate that vehicle. Safety is always key, as is time management. The company I deliver for if you're not 15 minutes early you're late. The crew should never wait for a truck. Also know the routes not all roads are truck routes

Experience driving the type of vehicle that the job requires you to drive is always a plus a clean license helps and just being comfortable behind the wheel for long hrs is always good but in my history experience is KEY THATS WHAT MOST JOBS LOOK FOR

A valid drivers license, a clean MVR report from the state, possibly no convictions for theft or violent crime.
