

It is hard to answer cause there are some many different things. You should be prepared for situations and definitely be able to talk about yourself. For some unknown reason was always about my strength and weakness'. Learn the motto of the department and what is on their seal. Integrity compassion or what ever. Also know the community size, when formed jurisdiction and so forth. And if they ask you a question about pulling someone over who should be arrested but they are prominent member ie judge, mayor another officer call a supervisor and let them make the decision.

Yes, with the goal of preserving life if necessary. Shoot with intention of capacitating to eliminate the threat if possible. If I was to take a job of being a police officer again my goal would be again to protect and serve to abate the situation.

Please take a really great look internally into your reasons for applying and then just be honest. This type of interview is largely about Fitability and how well suited for policing you may be personally.
If possible, ride or speak with officers and ask how they view the job now verses when they were in your stage of testing. They can be of great assistance.
A commitment to law enforcement means a great deal of personal dedication (as well as that of your family) and it is NOT like TV, the movies or other professions.
As noted above, just be honest and open and don't try a guess what will impress the oral board or individual interviews.
Prepare, be appropriate and if you are really committed and you don't get selected the first time. seek advise on how to improve and try again.
