Strike 2 ..,. Okay so I am a felon since 2001 got out of prison in 2009 and finaled in 2013. I stayed out of serious trouble for the most part started school was a Crimson Scholar for 2 years got my Associate's and started working on Bachelor's. While getting my Associate's I did a favor for a friend of 23 years she assured me the stuff wasn't stolen big fat lie. End result I got forgery charges for returning stolden property ​needless to say went to court got put on 18 months probation and was told complete it successfully and you won't go to prison for 5 years. I did complete it but not after false arrests and more crap. After 8 months I was released early from probation successfully completed with compliments from my P.O My problem now is finding someone to hire me seems no one wants to hire a felon. I want to work in home health care and have excellent references and resume. Do you think I'd be wasting my time to apply for this kind of position? It's something I enjoy and am really good at. I still do school on-line full time student but I need a job to support myself until I get my Bachelor's which might be a bit because I'm not doing so well this semester.. Is there anyone that can assist me in where to go to get hired or do I try for Home Care Worker? PLEASE I'm desperately in need of a job to be self supporting.
