Hello everyone I have kind of a situation. I just relocated for my company not knowing that I was going to be working inside a store that is damaged. I realized that the store is broken. Now the STL she has problems getting to work on time and she hates mental issues. I was doing the planner Monday and I was a bit stress by working long hours and not being able to get home to see after my son. So now my son was taken from me and I happen to write in the planner that the store needs a new STL . My question is was I wrong by writing it because of how I was feeling or should I have just not said anything. Now reminder I have continued to talk to my DM about the Store manager not coming to work on time.

Hello Rebecca, I'm sorry for the situation you were put in! It does seem like something needed to be mentioned about what was going on to the district manager, so I think you took a good step. It's not fair for you to be bogged down with all the work and have it effect you like this.
Hi Rebecca, Sorry to hear about the situation with your son. What were the specific expectations you discussed before accepting the relocation offer to that store? I’m sure the company's senior leadership were impressed with your performance and noticed your potential to extend the offer in the first place but if you're not in an ideal position personal or other to accept the challenge then you need to make that clear to management as soon as possible. Transferring to another location from a corporate referral usually mean taking on more work and responsibilities but it’s also a great opportunity to build on your experience and leverage your position with the company. Try to consult with someone you trust in or outside of work before making major decisions.
