Employed....FINALLY
I finally got a job today after being surplused by a BIG telecom company back in October. I'd worked there for just over 20 years. Now in my mid 40s I get to use my skills for a company that seems to actually value their employees.

Congratulations. after almost 29yrs, I was in the same boat as of March 2019. i am now actively looking for employment. despite news of low unemployment and a tight job market, i am not getting any traction despite applying for numerous jobs. and although it's daunting and disconcerting i will trudge on......best of luck with your new opportunities.
