Customer stuck up for me
Usually a lot of people complain about bad customers but I always try to be kind and help them anyway I can. My job at Dollar General helped me build customer service skills and i honestly like talking to the people who come in. I was helping an older woman find something for her grandson and this other woman just kept following us around and clearing her throat.. I turned around and smiled and told her that I would be with her shortly but i was busy helping another customer right now.. She totally flipped out saying she had somewhere to be and i had no customer skills and she was going to get me fired!! The woman I was helping just cut her off and told her I was just trying to just do my job. I was so grateful because i didn't want to get fired that day.
Yeah sometimes customers can be really rude and there's not much you can do. I'm glad to hear you have your job. If you worked with me I would have stood up for you too!
Customers can be TOUGH to deal with sometimes. It sounds like someone recognized how awesome you are Evelyn.
Wow! I am so glad that there was someone there to stand up for you. Being in a retail position where you are afraid of the customer is terrible, and I am so glad someone could defend you! I am also glad you didn't get fired.

Yes. With dollar general they will fire u for no reason at all. Never even give u a reason.
