I'm hoping someone can help me. I have been with the same company for 20 years. I was just on maternity leave with my 3rd child and I was paid my full salary the entire time. I came back for 3 weeks and was just let go. The reason was that my position was "absorbed". I do all the accounts payable for a large wholesaler and before me the position was held by 2 other people since 1969. So after 48 years it's not needed? The question is..is this legal?
