A good boss matters
What I love about my job at Pizza Hut is the respect and dignity that I get from my manager. None of my other bosses has ever treated me so good. I don't know if it's Pizza Hut or just THIS Pizza Hut, but I am lucky to work here. He even remembered my birthday last year and got me a gift card to Walmart. Having a good boss makes all the difference don't you think?
There are few people that are your boss who treat you with respect an don't treat you like garbage
yes you are truly fortunate for having a wonderful boss who truly respect his employers like a human being and if we had more bosses like you people wouldn't never think about finding some where else to go. And i were you i wouldn't leave i would stay there until the place totally shut down . i do wish you the best

Well if this is a corporate store then it goes back to company culture. There mission statement is to be the first choice for people to work. As such all aspects of Managment of the business take this into account. Every thing from training coaching to and strong employee appreciation program. The franchisee I worked for bought into this by participating in employee reward program every manager was given 5-10 appreciation cards a shift and was required to give them to any employee they see executing Sops properly or going above and beyond to help the customer or business. At the end of the shift the cards would go in a jar with the employees name and what they did to receive card. For a drawing at the end of the week to receive a prize.(pizza hut branded). If an employee revived 3 or more in a shift they receive a free meal in additiont to the one they got for working 4 or more hours .this was as far as the franchisee participated. Corporate has a myriad of programs. Employee birthdays, bonuses for meeting stores goals hourly swiftly daily and quarterly. Pizza Olympics employee pizza partys and other spiffs. A pizza hut fight song.to name just a fue

Do research to see how your boss will be BEFORE you start or get a sense on the interview. I have had some BAD ones myself. I am glad for you.
