When should I start looking for a summer job?

I’m really not able to start working anywhere right now. Only when school ends in late May/June.

Good question! I think the best time would be around April - you want to give yourself enough time to find a job, but you don't want to start too early and end up having to turn down job offers that start before school ends. FYI, I found this great article about the best jobs for teens - check it out! http://www.forbes.com/sites/investopedia/2013/06/04/10-great-summer-jobs-for-teens/#abff4dd7f6a3

Tony, It's never too early to start looking! Let them know that you aren't available until school is out, but maybe you could do some training or weekend work until then? That could help land some positions. Good luck! -Mark

You can start looking on the your city website and look for youth programs hiring in the summer. These youth programs generally begin when school is over and end right before school start.
