New Beginnings
I was just offered a position here in Missouri, I come from a sales background which financially is a blessing. The position I accepted is a pay cut but a piece of mind which is priceless. I have an insurance license but i will be working in a warehouse for a major company here in Missouri. It is a different environment and less money, but I figure being at peace without the pressure of sales is a blessing and a break.
Samantha, I wish you the best, but my experience is that it doesn't work. In sales you are a higher level problem solver with a voice. In the warehouse your work hard physically for lower pay, and usually no voice. Sales can be a pain, but you are paid well for that pain. You will go back into sales, more thankful, and more knowledge of how others live and feel. Enjoy the break, but I think you will be back in sales soon. Good Luck...

Congratulations! Peace of mind is whole better than being stressed out for 8 or more hours at work.
I'm all for peace and I'm starting to but that in my daily routine, just a few minutes to reflect.. just sitting back and giving myself a smile is helpful
