Hi all, I hope someone can help me.. I was working at a company in Cynthiana ky, my boyfriend was as well. I quit working due to the hours of work, my boyfriend was fired due to using false name and false social, he went back and put application in under true identity and was rehired. I ask for work and was told " we do not rehire," I explained my boyfriend and they said "he is a exception" what should I do?

Are the hours of work not going to be a problem, if you get re-hired? Most employers will not re-hire, if you left without proper notice or due to a controlable reason. Try to file unemployment. Good luck. Tell your boyfriend to stop with the identify theft, before he is employed by the department of corrections. He will find himself in a heap of trouble, if the Social Security Administration is on to him.

Dear Brandy, I'm sure that you don't have to be told twice that you aren't wanted. Please look for another job and be glad that you are away from those people. Your boyfriend could be in jail right now if they chose to file charges against him. Just be glad to be away from people that don't appreciate your hard work and it may have been because of his rehiring that management decided not to rehire anyone else. I'm on your side but I wouldn't have rehired him because he lied about his name and SSN. How much more basic can you get? His exception could be the type of work he does for them. Just please stay away from them and be glad that your boyfriend has a job. Good luck with finding one for you. God bless you and your family.

Let me first start by saying I am also Hispanic so this is not meant to be a racist remark. My first question is if your boyfriend used a different name and ssn, is he legal in the US? I would say this is a red flag situation especially if they rehire him knowing he provided false information the first time. Another red flag is that they only hire Hispanic males. This company may be hiring them because of thier legal status and know they can gwt away with working these men long hours at a minimal wage. I think this company needs to be investigated! Unfortunately, if they are found guilty of using these hiring methods many of my brothers may lose their jobs. It is a bad situation all around...

Never go where your not accepted.if they operate like that.go find better employment.dont force your self in or on.it opens you up for being missused.

In my opinion, your best option is to find another job. Ì don't see how taking this higher in the company can bode well. Your boyfriend is extremely lucky not to be facing identity theft charges, or as you have stated he is Hispanic he's fortunate that ICE wasn't notified of his fraudulent activity.

The difference is that you "quit" and he was "fired". Quitting an employer displays lack of loyalty and commitment.

You find another job the fact is you even mentioning your boyfriends situation shows how unprofessional and immature you are. Companies may or may not rehire you, and just because you know of someone who was rehired (technically not rehired because your sneaky ass up to no good boyfriend is using fraudulent information so technically they fired the guy he pretended to be and hired the person that he now says he is.) does not mean that they commonly rehire. You left because you didn't like the hours employees like you are disposable you wont stay to become asset because at the first sign of adversity you cut and run. You quit so your ex employer does not owe you anything next time think before you make rash decisions and leave a position usually you burn a bridge and can't go back.
Brandy, the fact that you are talking about your felonious boyfriends actions like its no big deal is bizarre. Please 1) drop him and 2) get your shit together.
