I'm looking for a professional position. How can I research the companies that will be present that are looking for what I have to offer?

Nora, that is pretty wide open, and leads to an answer like "somewhere"? Maybe it would help to know what is your experience, or what positions you have experience in. As for what you have given us I would say the web. I would also suggest joining Linked In, as it is a very good professional networking site. I wish you the best, but you need to be a little better organized and detailed. Good Luck...

Hi Nora, Great Question! You can start off researching companies in industries related to your education and/or previous work experience. Your profile show and impressive and extensive background in Education, Therapy, and Human Behavior so you might want to look into professional employment opportunities at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Children's Inc..

If you're looking for a career change or exploring other industries the 3CDC is a community development company with some interesting career options and the Fifth Third Bank has some exciting Finance employment opportunities as well.

So, your search depends on your particular career interests but the advantage of attending a Job Fair is the opportunity to meet with hiring managers and recruiters to ask specific questions you probably won't find online or get better informed about the companies culture.

The companies 'About Us' and 'Career' pages offer a wealth of information. You can also turn to the social media sites like facebook and twitter to get a better perspective on whats new in the business or currently trending in the company.

Here's the current list of employers scheduled to attend The Cincinnati Works Job Fair for your review, see previous conversationGreat Employers - The 2017 Cincinnati Works Job Fair! and please feel free to reach out to our partners at Cincinnati Works (513) 744-9675 if you have any other questions. See you at the Job Fair!
