Are Unions making a Comeback?

As we continue to see Power lean towards corporate interests more and more workers are coming together to demand a voice on issues that affect their work lives. Working families today continue to struggle over issues around livable wages, healthcare, and affordable housing to name a few. Retirement is no longer a reality but a pipe dream. Politicians and corporations remain united to support the interest of the wealthy and continuing to ignore the pleas of everyday people demanding better work life conditions. Do you think bringing back the concept of unions into the american work life is a viable solution?

Why did we allow companies to get rid of them in the first place? I agree, workers need a united voice representation. More people protecting employee interest need to be sitting at the table when corporate decisions are being made. It shouldn't just be shareholders and c level management.

YES! I hope so. Companies have been abusing the At Will employment laws for a long time and have been firing employers for no reason. It's out of control.

I really wish they would make a comeback. It would make it impossible for corporations like Walmart to treat their employees so shady and ensure proper pay and benefits. Also it would bring more jobs back into the USA. The reason so many companies went over seas is because no one stood up and told them they couldn't take away American jobs. We need to get back to taking care of the American people.
