I filed for unemployment March 22 2020. I had to mail it because it was a federal employment, they received it on March 25. On April 21, I received a letter of my wages, my wages say $0.00 on everything. On UI Online, it’s says duplicate and Not Paid. In my inbox it says “no benefits are available for your claim at this time”. Does this mean I did not get approved for unemployment? And why would I not get approved if I met the eligibility requirements? I left my job due to exposure to covid-19.

My wages are not showing either. I tried to do a request for reconsideration online but I keep getting an error. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same situation. I applied for unemployment but the form did not ask for income. I am self employed so when I received a letter of determination it said - You application has been received. No wages found, you do not qualify for benefits. the wages chart on the letter showed all 0.00.
beings I'm self employed do I file an appeal or do I need to apply for PUA? OR do I file an appeal through PUA? do I need to file a weekly claim? if so with who/which department in Kansas PLEASE I NEED HELP.

Hello, If you received a UI award notice that shows $0 in wages, you may still qualify for benefits. Visit the Unemployment Insurance Benefits section of the Coronavirus 2019 FAQs for more information.

Are you self employed, a contractor or gig worker? The system may still be trying to catch up. Keep filing your weekly claims and you should get retro pay from your original approval date.
