Tips on HR, interviews, jobs, and Unemployment

Hello Smruti I would suggest revising your resume with keywords recruiters/human resources are looking for. I can assist in reviewing your resume for free and giving you suggestions in regards to your resume, if you like. Especially since you have full cycle recruitment. What is your specialty?

Hi I would suggest you to have several resumes. If the position ask only for high school if you have an associate degree. Just write associate degree. If they are asking for associate just write your bachellors. If you don’t have associate only write high school. Also, be sure you have enough key words about what employer is asking for. At least must be 30 Words. Remember, a software usually match the resume with the job description, Also, you might have to apply to work as Administrative assistant or any role relate to customer service .

I have worked for HR on and off and the jobs have been temporary, and even with my HR experience it is very difficult to get into an HR dept. I don't know what is up with that except that maybe since HR depts are usually small, the hiring pool maybe saturated quite often. If I were you I would explore a different area, a spinoff of the industry you were in perhaps.

If I may ask is your resume tailored for a specific job? Does the resume show the skills being asked for in the job description. Remember when a Recruiter looks at your resume it's for a specific position they are trying to fill. Also how active are you on LinkedIn. Have you tried reaching out to people who may work at the companies you are applying to through LinkedIn to see if they will deliver your resume for You? These are just some suggestions to think about.

First redo your resume..you stating 8.5 full circle...is telling me ...you are looking like A job hopper...No Company will Hire you ...if you ARE every where .Your Reason for leaving over jobs also...Speaks Volumes... No employer has time for gossip ..and they do not want to read it or see it ...your reason SHOULD be left for a better opportune...Now with that said Take a picture of YOURSELF ..One page resume ...place it in a folder...When you get TO the place where your going to drop off...Hand it to em with a smile...As be positive....we are winners...of ourselves...we are the light....so shine

The biggest issue with not getting interviews is your resume. You may want to consult your local unemployment career office because they have people there who can help you for free & you don’t have to be unemployed or collecting.
