How you know you're from RI...
Only Rhode Islanders will get this ; )
I grew up in RI and I have total pride in my state, but the "You know you're from RI when..." ALWAYS make me laugh because they are so TRUE!
So for today's you know you're from RI...
You give people directions to a location based on places that USED to be there.
It doesn't matter if the building or location has been gone for 30 plus years, you will still use it as a landmark!
Anyone else give directions like this???

Oh my goodness!! So, I have been working almost exclusively gig-jobs for the last 2 years or so...one being uber. While I am not from Rhode Island originally, I lived there for a few months. I used to have passengers do this to me ALL the time. If there was a better way to go than the GPS was telling me, they'd give me some crazy "locals only" directions and I always felt bad because I had no idea what they were talking about. lol
