Hit Rock Bottom....
Hi...I'M trying desperately to find employment. I recently had move back into my father's house with my children. I'm at rock bottom, and can't do what I love at the moment (I'm a makeup artist ). I also hv a knee injury that leaves with the only option for jobs that require very little walking and standing. I'm trying my best to find employment and get out of this state of depression. If anyone has any suggestions for employment please let me know. Thank you in advance .

working for Facebook from home, I only see these openings coming into my email, but might be a choice you could use, to at least get some money flowing

Cheryl - I am not sure why you are having to go through such a tough time. But I DO know that you are going to get through this. Please consider looking into some mental health agencies in your area. Many of them work on a sliding scale. When I was in a similar situation as you, I had to take care of the depression before I had the energy to get out there and submit applications and be "present" during interviews. It is okay to take an anti-depressant if that is what you need to do. Please consider this. I will keep you in my prayers.

Hang in there. It's not easy as I was homeless both parents have passed away years ago.lost everything rebuilding my life all over again. You can do it. Power of prayer goes along way. Trust in God. Let us know when you get the job. Praying for you. V

Cheryl, I am sorry for your situation. I do not have an immediate answers to your problem and I am sorry about that. Since you have a passion for make up and beauty have you thought about teaching others your skills via an online learning class? this paired with an e-commerce store selling beauty aids and the brand you support may be able to provide you an income along with still working with your true passion. Most think that an e-commerce store will cost tons of money. Not really the case. I can do it in about a week and will do it for no cost for you. The only cost that will be directly out of your pocket is the domain registration which is $12.00 for the year. Let me know if this is an interesting option. Send me an e-mail wbarr22@gmail.com

Hello Cheryl Marlowe, I love your transparency & your strength, I know it should've taken a lot for you to post this..with those two attributes that you possess, I just know you're going to find something soon..I'll be praying for you & hey, maybe you can give me a few make-up tips! ha,ha,ha...Have a Blessed day! And thanks for giving me someone to pray for today..It really works, the more people praying for you, believe me the more God's door gets knocked on! :)

Have you thought about doing temp work? I don't know if you have office skills, but most of those jobs require little walking or standing. Maybe you could answer phones somewhere. It's a way to earn a little money and get your foot in the door. If they like you they might offer you permanent work. Try Googling temp agencies in your area and sign up with many of them, not just one.

STAY POSITIVE

hey i'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. i went through something similar myself, but all i can tell you is to stay strong. you're going to find a way through this, you just have to keep powering through each day one at a time. i found this article that might help with a few suggestions as to what you can do if you can't stand all day: http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/12/19/best-and-worst-jobs-for-people-in-pain.html hope it helps

In the same boat..just moved from Arkansas back to Idaho..living with the parent with 2 kids. I have applied for so many jobs I've lost track of who and what and I've gotten 1 interview out of all of them. My problem is that I have the education for what I want to do but no experience, so it's that catch-22. I wish I had some advice to give you but all I can say is don't give up..your perfect job is out there ...just be patient (easier said than done, I know)
