Good or bad thing?

So I've been out of work awhile (I'm ashamed to say how long) and I've got an interview tomorrow. I guess I'm needing help because I'm not sure if it'll be good or bad. I interviewed last week and the girl who I interviewed with said she'd turn in my application and I could call and check in. Soooo, I called today and she said she "meant" to call and I've got a second interview tomorrow morning. So is this good or bad? Am I making something out of nothing? Do they feel sorry for me? Or? Oh and before any of you judge and "talk"...hear me out. I'm desperate and I've got no one else to talk to about this. Thanks.

It's a great thing because they could have told you no by letter or phone but they're giving you a chance to sell yourself. Good luck and keep us informed please.

A second interview is good. No company ever feels sorry for anyone, employees or applicants. No company would interview you because they feel sorry for you. All they care about is what can you do for them? How can you be a solution and solve a problem or need? Good luck.

Sounds like they are or could be interested in you since this is the second interview. Sometimes company want to see if you are really in need of a job and wait to see if you will call them. Just my thoughts. Good luck

Stephen, You have nothing to be embarrassed about. Most of us have been through a dry spell. Don't over think the opportunity. Take them at their word. It's extremely out of the ordinary for a business to make time to interview someone out of pity. Go in with confidence that you're the right guy for the job.

Don't feel sorry for you, and don't feel sorry for yourself. Your self esteem seems as if it already hit the shitter. This is a good thing, relax, go to the interview with your head held high. The worst-case senerio, you'll get the job and be miserable. LOL. thought I throw in a little humor. Be happy you got a 2nd interview. Good luck Stephen. Keep us posted

This is a good thing if you have a second interview. That means they are seriously looking at your resume. Just have faith in God. He works miracles.
