Public housing job.
Hi. I've lived in Illinois for over 30 years and I am wanting to pick up and move to the state of Georgia. I have applied for property management positions and assistant manager positions. I have written a cover letter and submitted my resume. However, I'm not getting any call backs or email responses. How do I know if the company wants me? I would like to land a position before I make my move. What do I need to get done? Thanks

I am probably biased but typically if you're not getting interviews despite sending out tons of resumes, the problem is very likely the resume itself. On the other hand, if you get interviews but no offers the problem has more to do with how you appear to them in the interview.

Hi Quynnetta: I responded to your other post with a job lead - let me know what you think!
As I mentioned before if you are repeatedly sending out a lot of resumes and getting no response, it's likely there is a problem with the resume. Of course, I can't say for sure without seeing. Let me ask you something. In the cover letter do you tell them you are planning on moving to GA? If not, of course, you should, but it would be a nice touch if in the cover letter you say something about how much you love the state of GA, so much that you want to move there and work.
