I received this email today.....beware!
Greetings, Thank you so much for your interest in Concentrix! Recently, it has come to our attention that our potential candidates in the state of Georgia may have been targeted by a false social media posting regarding our Work At Home positions. We are reaching out to each candidate in the area to inform you of this potential work from home scam.
If you have been contacted by JAMES HOWLEY (james.howleyconcentrix@gmail.com) or if this person should contact you in the future, please be aware that HE IS NOT an employee of Concentrix. If you have been contacted, please respond to this email IMMEDIATELY. If you have provided any payment information, we recommend that you contact your financial institution to take the appropriate steps needed to protect your account information.
Also, we request that all communication from JAMES HOWLEY (james.howleyconcentrix@gmail.com) be forwarded to Concentrix at workathome@concentrix.com.
If you have been offered employment, we recommend that you follow up with a Concentrix Recruiter, Alana Daniels (Alana.Daniels@concentrix.com) to confirm and check the status of your application.
It is unfortunate that there are work at home scams and “too good to be true” sales pitches out there. Here are a few tips and promises from Concentrix: We do not require credit card nor any other form of payment information from candidates. We will never ask you for money. Not for equipment, not for background checks. We will never ask you for confidential information (such as social security number, birthdate, bank account information, etc.) until the offer stage. We will ask you to provide documentation evidencing that you are who you say you are, but not until we have extended an offer. We have a process in place and our Recruiting staff will guide you through each step. Ensure you respond to verified @concentrix.com email addresses. Look at the email address carefully. Some scam emails will look like they come from our company, for example, the scammer’s email address could be first.lastconcentrix@gmail.com, which at first glance appears to be a legitimate @concentrix.com email address. During regular business hours, we offer the live chat room support (visible on http://careers.concentrix.com/work-at-home/) so you can speak with a Concentrix employee. Ask us about our experiences with Concentrix. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,

I don't recall posting this, I use to work for Concentrix as well and they are a legit company. But they will not use gmail as an email contact/

What

Roni,
I just wanted to let you know that Concentrix is a real and legit company that used to be called Synnex. I worked for them in one of their call centers for over a year but I had to leave for medical reasons. Anyone that works for Concentrix has an email "sample@concentrix.com". If you have any questions about anyone from Concentrix that contacts you, you can always call their location in Fremont, CA at 1-800-747-0583. They are a good company to work for, and have good benefits, just make sure the person contacting you is legit.
Yes I just got one! Someone pretending to be Richard Hintz
