truck stop stories
im bored and checking in from the road - just saw a guy back his truck right into a pickup and then drive away back on the highway! i guess he was gonna find another truck stop to not get caught... anyway, what's something crazy you've seen recently OTR??
wow that's bad, not a good driver who doesn't just own up to mistakes! i once saw a guy open up his door and i swear there were 6 or 7 cats in there... i mean i get traveling with a pet but !!
Things happen. It is possible the driver did not see the pickup that was backed into, or just didn't care, based on experience, and some of the Wonderful Co-Drivers I've had to run with. C-Y-A becomes rule number one, even if it isn't right.
Ever go to the races across the interstate
I was laid over one weekend in Parkersburg West Virginia at the New Liberty T/S and Livestock auction and that Saturday back in 1989 I think the auction was going on in the back and a young bull jumped over the railing ran through the stands trampling over people ran upstairs to the second floor broke through the door and ransacked the place before running full blast out a second floor window landing on a car that's when I ran the the back of the restaurant and looked out to see the bull running away from the truck stop. Years ago I was driving for Green Mountain Carriers driving south on I-79 when another truck pulled up beside me hit his air horns then took off before I got a chance to see what it was about .checked my mirrors etc did not see any rubber flapping or anything then noticed him kind of pull over quick thought maybe he had a health issue or something so pulled up behind him and went up to his cab stood up on his step and asked what was the problem , about that time I realized he was nakid except for his boots then noticed a nakid girl in passenger seat she said "no problem I am just horney" ....then noticed second guy in the bunk , nakid also .....said guess if these two can't take care of you I am not going to be of any help .....got back to my truck and got out of there ....

Again, experiences teaches you to cover your ass, unless you have an uncontrollable desire to spend the remainder of your life flipping burgers at McDonald's for pocket change, instead of staying on the road, by any means necessary, and earning enough money to pay your bills. You choice. Honesty doesn't pay very much, even if you do sleep better.
