fired for being sexually assaulted
I use to work at this factory, and there was this guy who had been there for 5 years and I was still on probation but I was almost done. He was persistent and stalked me, he touched me and would watch me. He went to places he thought I might be and even made fake social media accounts so he could stalk me. I was scared to file a report because I knew they would fire me, but it got so bad that I finally did. Well my manager went up to him and he said I was lying. A week later they let me go without a reason. I found out recently he was fired from that place for the same thing and then another job for the same thing.
If,,,,,you want to go back you'll have to file a lawsuit for unjustified termination with the labor department and your local human resources at the city hall. But i don't think that you can get monetary compensation. A lawsuit will have to be filed against the manager and the person that harassed you, because against the company will be a waste of time, if you don't have any evidence that you talk to the human resources department.
You should get some legal advice. You have a case! They were supposed to protect you, not fire you. It's the principle!

So what is your question? You should probably go to HR, and if that doesn't help, possibly speak with an attorney. We are only getting one side of the story, but if it is true it would appear you should pursue this further. However, you will probably need some evidence to back-up your story, as of right now it is he said/ she said. Good Luck...
I feel that wast right what he did to you and also the manger should of believe you but I felt because he had work their longer they probably had a bond. but I wouldn't care if he been their longer If I was the manger I would fire him not you because you didn't have nothing to do with that he was the one touching you. But you shouldn't feel bad because a least you said something I give courage for that and you probably find a way better job than that.
