Employed w bad attitude
Seriously been applying for a position im more then qualified for ...so dollar general is hiring like 4 different posted positions..ive gone in in person apllied 3 diffrent positions and manger says only one is available ...why have 3-4 positions online saying available then i call to follow up and the associate is so rude ..this manger wont be able to answer any questions about applications so you just have to call back ..but the way she said it and how she responded w her tone was like stop calling and he cant help you...i understand mam but can i just speak i have a question for him ...again she placed me on hold 3 minutes was way to long for a manager who cant answer a question ...i mean litteralky made me feel like giving up on that job because of andreas attitude ..not a great start to what seemed promising ..Attitude is tge most important in customer service and this young lady put a damper on my day ...
I've had my own issued with Dollar General jobs in the past so I'm not at all surprised. The management from corporate all the way down to store level is inconsistent. Some stores are managed better than others. Chances are that the workplace culture in that store is horrible if that is the first impression the staff wants to leave with a potentially new employee. That kind of hassle is not worth the 12-15 hours per week they offer.
