Requesting positive thoughts for my mother, please.

I'm so angry. My mom has over 40 years of paralegal/office management experience. Last Friday, she interviewed for a new position and less than two hours after, got a text from the employer asking if she wanted the job. She replied absolutely and said she would give her employers 2 weeks notice. The employer sent an official offer letter via email. My mother reviewed it and responded that everything looked fine and she had a couple questions, asking the employer to contact her at her convenience. The employer texted her saying she hadn't responded in a timely manner, so the job went to someone else. WHAT?! My mother responded that she had accepted the job on Friday and gave notice to her current employers already. No response. So now, after next Friday, my mom is unemployed at 61 years old. Please send some good vibes her way. This is very scary.

Check any sent items either email or text from the day she got the offer to the his response saying that she did not get job. Contact DOL if does not justify the reason especially if everything was done in one week.
