New female trucker need advice

I'm new to the industries even though I kind of grew up a traveling kid. My dad taught me a lot about being on the road but he couldnt teach me to drive rig. Are there any companies that appreciate female drivers or are they all taking advantage of being female and new?

Doesn’t matter if you are male or female... they don’t discriminate ... they are bi-sexual... They screw all genders!

There are many decent outfits. Ive been trucking for 37 years. I have not been taken advantage of, ever, that I know of. I had some "tricks" pulled on me when I first started because there no women solos that anyone was aware of at the time, but I took it all in good sport and just got 'er done. Walah, here I am still driving today.

The company I drive for, Garner Trucking, out of Ohio is a female owned company. We have several women that drive for us and have been recognized by the industry for helping women get started and excel in their careers.

Female drivers are pretty much welcome everywhere. Go online and check them out. If there is a truck stop near talk to drivers. You will find many female drivers. Good luck to you!!!!
