Sometimes you have to be bold with your boss and not be scared of them,even though you may or may not loss your job or not. But pray for the right way to be bold in the way the Lord wants you to be. Be sure to pray first about it and when the Lord gives you the boldness that he wants you to have,then when you start to being bold with everyone,don't have any regrets about it and do what the Lord gives you to say to them. I know I've had some run ends with my bosses before here is one of the many examples of one time that I had to be bold. I tried to get a transfer,and he stopped it but I looked at him and told him that. No matter what any person tried to stop when the Lord opens a door no man can stop it from happening, and you will get and keep respect between you and your boss. Main thing is to do first is to pray about it first,and then don't be scared of your boss and don't let them think that they got you where they want you at, is putty in there hands you don't want that. Don't get emotionally wrapped up, or frustrated, with work problems. Remember you are just there to earn a buck. Also bear in mind the millions of Americans who are not as lucky as you, they are out of work and would love the chance to be "frustrated".

Rebecca, Isn't it quite sad that your drilled to speak to the HR personnel if you have any concerns in the orientation or first day of training, and then this happens. Been in the same position. I spoke up and lost my job. Not right. And I was professional and kind. No name mentioned. Stay calm about this. Gossip is gossip. You did the right thing. Hang in there and good luck

Help! Help me please. I work in a company that won't help. I've went to the CEO. Ive got a third shift pressman that hates me. I'm a second shift pressman. His supervisor and him are doing everything in there power to fire me. There's rummor going around tha he hates me. I Don t know him at all. Nor do I know his supervisor. He is a syco. If there's wrong. He'll find something. He's been the company 13 yrs. I've been with them 2 yrs.. He's got that many years exp. I've got his life time in exp. No respect. It's just a matter of time. I'll be fired. Or let go. Note: I'm good what I do. I'm a printer. I've done it for 38 years. Maybe I back off. I just can't retire right now.

(willingboro,nj)Hi Rebecca! i'm Mike! i hate to preach but it says in the good book "That the tongue is a double edged sword'.!' i guess one has to be careful how one uses it! in almost every job i've had there was always an ass kisser or brown noser if you will .personaly i don't know how or why employers put up with such people as those! well people that start gossip generally get tangled in their own gossip from misunderstandings or they get misinformed by what they hear! it's bad policy to be that way especially at work! if you khow a certain person is like that i wouldn't say anything that they would spread!

If anything about you being there comes out in the work place, go back to HR and have them bring the gossip in. Giving out that kind of info is a violation of the Fed. Privacy Act. You have to make sure, you don't talk also.
