WAKE UP!!!!!
Life can sure throw some curveballs, especially when you get laid off before rent is due. I have been applying for the past few months non stop and quite honestly became bitter over it. I gave my all to this job, only to be kicked to the curb. What makes matters worse, my nephew is diagnose with cancer. With all the chemotherapy and nonstop hospital visits, you would think there would be a frown on his face, but no just all smiles and laughter! The other day, my nephew told me, he is thankful that he can wake up another day because some don't have another chance to live. Watching him going through all of these changes, I was reminded when life hits you in the face, don't falter or give up, just push through. I hope someone out there who is about to lose hope pick up the pieces and press harder in your life.

That's an eye opener. You are so true!

Wiw!... That's an awesome testimony! That's good you can still hope in the face adversity. ..you're right too! Wake Up! Stop complaining. .. This is not the end! We must go through to get to our blessings. Wishing complete healing for your nephew, and blessings on your search of eemployment. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Omg I needed to read that. I know I don't know you but thanks for the word of encouragement. It's hard out here looking for a job. I was almost at that hopeless point. Seeing this makes me feel a lot better

This came just in time thank u for this i was feeling like giving up on everything .I've been working since I was 13 yrs old.thank u

Oh wow! Allison, my prayers and heart goes out to you. You are an inspiration to me. Well, my experience was simular. My job "pull the rug" right from under my feet literally. I was working full time in the medical field as I go on vamos for my B.S. degree in business 2007; meanwhile, pursuing my nursing degree. I have asked my new boss for one week off (I was never late always on time and fill in where others took their vacation for four years). He says, "You have to decide whether to go to school or be here for the Patients." After my week of internship, I called my clinic and was told there was an inservice on the new machines the conf was about to receive and I was not their to complete the training; hence, they have to take me off the schedule. When I called HR, I was told that I was a no call no show up. In this process, I lost my apartment, almost lost my vehicle; consequently, I couldn't pay for my nursing program hence I was ought of the program. It really did hurt. This set back for 10 years has cost me many insults from my peers because I have to start from scratch and took a major pay cut.
Your post has encourage me, and I pray you will never get tired in doing good for your nephew. Men or Woman May never see our worth here on earth, but God never sleeps, neither does He slumber. He see your tears and He hear your (His children's) prayers. Stay strong May God bless you with a better job.

I am having a hard time finding work lately. I've worked at Walmart twice. The first time was April 2015 to October 1st of 2015. The other time was May 20th 2016 to July 17th of 2016. Both times I was told that my temporary assignment was at an end. My unemployment ended the 19th of last month. I've had to sell just about everything that I own just so I can keep my apartment. I've checked back at Walmart recently and was told that there is a freeze on hiring. This close to Christmas? I don't think so. I was food shopping at Walmart the other day and there were a lot of new faces there. I need a new job desperately.

Inspirational thank you
I hear what you are saying, I have been laid off or have had companies go out of business and have to start over again, makes it tough, especially if you are raising kids, God has always come through in these tough times.
