Hello Elonda, Temp agencies don’t promise permanent employment so the operate under slightly different terms in order to remain compliant with state and federal labor laws. The employee/employer agreements usually require employees to report either when an assignment ends or if they choose not to return to an assignment. It varies by state but temp employee’s must allow the agency a certain grace period (3 day’s or more) to find them another job assignment before filing for unemployment insurance coverage. The key is active communication. If there’s a breakdown or miscommunication in the relationship delays unemployment claims

Wow, that's super shady. Do you have documented proof that you were fired or had to resign for reasons other than your own? I'd present a paper trail to help prove your case. Try applying again for unemployment, I've heard other Jobcasers say that it's pretty normal to be denied once and then approved the second time around.
