Trouble getting a job because of felonies
I have felonies that are 12 years old. I completed all probation and everything I had to do. I turned my life around since all of that happened. I dont even have a speeding ticket or parking ticket on my record since the felonies. Well I'm having a hard time finding a job that actually pays decently because most places do background checks and will not hire felons. I'm drug and alcohol free and a hard worker and have certifications and 2 yr college trade school graduate and still cant find a job. I'm 40 years old. I need to be able to pay rent and everything else that comes with being an adult. That is not possible with no 10$ hr job. PLEASE HELP WITH ADVICE!!

you do housekeeping or laundry at a hotel and part of your check will pay for the room. thats what my husband does and he is a felon.

Google "felon friendly employers" to find companies that will consider you.
