What are some of the experiences you've had with recruiters. I'm so frustrated. I have interviews via phone and I'm told I'll get a call back. Just this week a recruiter called and emailed me about a job I applied for. I've since left 2 different messages and no response. I just don't understand.

Recruiters are just filling a quota they have. That's been my experience. They find your resume, call you in, have you fill out useless info, sometimes for jobs not even close to what you do. And never call back. I have "Rent-A-Bum agency's trying to get me to come in all the time, for a job de-burring parts, when I'm a machinist/tool and die maker. It's like, "Did you even look at my resume" (I know the answer is no)
