Shady Management

This scenario sounds like an afterschool moral & ethics programs but I’m dealing with a situation at work where my boss is cornering me into altering reports to make the store look good on paper to the corporate offices. I’ve heard rumor’s of other stores cheating results on their books but we’ve never had to do that because our sales goals were always met. Shady activity like this not only goes against company policy but against my moral and ethical standards as well. Has anyone ever worked with a shady manager in the past? How did you handle the situation?

Wow, that's so insane! I would make sure you document everything, because there might come a time where you need to act as a whistleblower. Also, you don't want to get in trouble for this when it's your manager who's calling the shots. I would get out of that workplace ASAP!
