Lying about my job??
Apparently my fiance has been lying to her family, telling them I’m a doctor. I’m actually a nurse, but somehow that’s not good enough or not “manly.” I’m not sure what to do. Should I just go along with it?
Do not go along with the ruse/lie. Ultimately this will backfire on both you because the truth will always reveal itself. I would have a heart/heart with your fiance to find out why she tells ppl that your a doctor. Maybe she does not understand that they are 2 different job titles/function. The company I worked for had multiple job titles for the same level of position. If she does understand the difference then ask her why she does not feel comfortable introducing you as a nurse. If she is a sexist, then you would have to understand if you continue on with her how this will impact your relationship/marriage, as she will see you being the 'man' for many other roles within the household. good luck.
If there were no nurses, Doctors would not be able to do the job. Nurses make decent income, not more then Doctors ,but continued study may lead to a specialized field, I think some nurses are unionized so pay and health coverage are a factor. Doctors,as far as I know can't unionize. That's the advantages of nurses. Also, Doctors are sued more then nurses if malpractice can be proven in court. I would suggest a cervix massage for the fiance that puts her in a totally good mood. then explain how being a nurse helps understand the body. That's why you have the "magic touch" when it comes to intimate encounters..
Wow, that's really concerning. You shouldn't have to feel bad about what you do, and especially not with your family!

If she will lie to her family about your profession, just imagine what she is lying to you about. Dump that want to be gold digger. I am sure that there is a hot nurse or even a lady doc that would enjoy your company without the lies.
She should except you for you and not afraid to show you to her friends and family, vise versa. Is she embarrassed or ashamed of you? Or does she have some fear of disapproval from her family? Once you figure out the true reason you must decide if you are okay with it and try to come up with a solution together. Oooor you can say screw that you deserve better and dump her butt

I think it is important that your new family know the truth now, because they will find out later anyway. If they find out that you were lying it will be much worse. Also if they see you are honest now it will be good in there eyes.
Tell your girl to stop that. If she cant accept you for who you are another woman will. She could of at least said your studying to be a Dr... IJS
Nope and nope, don't answer the questions, don't make ur girl look like a a big fat liar....because she is. Make a joke everytime her family brings it up...and if I were you I would tell her to quit it, she your fiance, accept you for who you are or gtfo
