Recruiting seems like a difficult position. Like day trading. Buy low sell high, been there done that. It must be frustrating when a recruiter sends a email requesting a updated resume for a position they need to fill ASAP. I think if a company needs to fill a position ASAP then someone at that company is failing at forecasting the labor requirements. Or the company has bid on a contract and is now struggling to support the requirement. Possibly someone has already been selected and the recruiter only request the resume so they appear competitive.
