I have applied for some many jobs until is like a faddish like I just can't stop trying. I am so tired of this rat race since November of last year. My career has been destroyed seems to me. Can't get a chance and if you are not perfect today oh well. I have never seen times like these good people want to work can do the job but can't get a real job. I have been with the temp agency for now about almost three months, working weekends, evening shifts, etc. and just can't find a job at least in the field I am used to working for 22 years. Maybe I have just to stop trying for a while I don't know what to do. I will keep working for this agency as long as they have something for me to do but seems like that work available for me is what others don't want. It is sad, it hurts, the lady that wrote too old, maybe you are right it is over for us but why we can still work and have skills but a chance we just can't get. I am too old now to go to school for a degree, but for the jobs, I am applying for why do they feel you need a degree. I am too old for paying student loans. I am trying to get why a degree, for Concierge, receptionist what, and why. I pray but my hopes are fading. So tired of applying. What do we do?
