Discrimination

That's not right. We as older people have to work too.

I'm 47 myself and what I hate is that us as oldschool gangsters we can do the work of like 3 punks so what they do in response is throw us under the pavement under the bus

I agree, thanks for the tip but, their lost will be your gain. In time JUSTICE will be served to ALL.

my husband was told he was hired somewhere and to put in notice so he did and then they stopped answering his calls and finally said no job.....now what? that was dec. 20th ....he 47 too

I no the feeling. The same with me only with a family business. Wrong ideal 2 ever work 4 your own famiily.

Hi! Chad, I'm so sorry to hear what happen to you. The young man that posted for you to get yourself a lawyer is correct however, I don't agree with leaving God out. Everything I mean everything, happens for a reason (we might not understand why) however, the ma n upstairs does. Look what you've done so fa, letting people know what happen to you brought you, them and myself here today. It's time for this to stop, companies carelessly playing with people lives. It's sad but true and hiring a lawyer can show companies that they need to hold up there in especially when someone has a job that they leave to better themselves and who also has others depending on them. SHAME ON UPS!!! FOR THIS! They should have to pay your salary until you find another joy equal to what you would have been getting working for them. Hey! People coming together like this, Standing up for what is right!! CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN for CHAD and for all the other CHADS that has experienced this!!! What's that old saying, if you don't stand up for something, you will fall for anything. That's what UPS seem to think you will just fall for what they have done! If God is before you and your supporters beside you, your life will only get better!!! Whatever, I can do to help I will. ENOUGH! iS ENOUGH! AMERICA!!!

Did you know you can apply for unemployment to make up the difference for the hours you are not getting?
If you feel you have resolved communication efforts, follow Justin Fahrenkrug suggestion. The thing I will add is that you must show proof of anything you are claiming. Also, before going to a full paying by the hour attorney, try some of this financial feasible alternatives first: check to see if you a states civil rights office in your area, then looking into an employments rights institution, then a legal service institution that offers free or lowcost legal service (in michigan, we legal services of eastern michigan). Age discrimination is in full-effect. They may come back and say because they hired you, they are not practicing age discrimination, however, in their practice of distributing work hours, it appears they are. I'll be praying for you brother.
