Tempting Tuesday
Greetings all, this is my first conversation initiated on Jobcase because this is my day and I have something to say that may encourage someone. This is another average day for me daily job searching, applying and hoping to receive a return call of a possible interview. A little work history of my Office Professional career field includes; a Senior Administrator/Executive Assistant, Records Management Coordinator, Customer Care Analyst/Engagement Coordinator and Sales and Marketing. The Federal Contractor I worked with for over 20 years lost their federal funding and that put me back in the employment game of finding a decent job. Yes, there have been challenges, issues, ups and downs, good days and bad which has forced me to accept jobs I would not otherwise accept. No one could have prepared for the rejections, yes, no and not sure comments I received in trying to get back in to the workforce but I believe in my heart of hearts that God has a plan for me. I don't know what it is or when I'll received it but, I keep the faith and wait to receive it. I do believe things happen for a reason because HE didn't bring me this far in my career to let me go and trouble don't last always. Thank you, had to release a little stress.
To be sure, faith the size of a mustard seed was better than no faith at all. And, they reasoned, according to Jesus, even this size faith could accomplish much.
Hi cecillia your right things do happen in life but can't let it hold you back or down never the less God has a plan for us just stay open minded optimistic job on it's way praise the Lord Amen keep the faith Amen
I have to say you have made my day. This is my first time writing and joining the group. I love your spirit, your Faith, I have to admit I am starting to loose Faith in people, in our system, and specialy for some of us applicants who have all the right experience and education but we don't know the owners than we don't get the job. In life I have always did the right things, study, got JD, MBA, Double degree put my self to school and I volunteered. Worked for the state . Now looking for a job because I am a Overhelper! So thank you for reminding me that our Faith in God is always there and will keep us going and we will help each other in the process. Thank you!
You may feel a lil stressed but always remember you are blessed when we wake up every morning like the sunshine. So there will be another brighter day

I don’t ever post but this would be my first and I am in the same position 16 years in and then got laid off cause my firm was not doing well financially and because of other reasons. I would like to repeat exactly what your saying keep your faith, keep your head up and keep on going. The game and market has changed but I don’t believe that we came so far to start over. I honestly believe in my worth and skill set is worth something and I refuse to start off in any entry level position because God does have a plan for me as for everyone else who is in this position! The unknown is what is frustrating but I won’t allow anything or anyone to depreciate my value to a company. Just trust and believe and it will happen and I continue to work on me and my skills until I find the right fit and position. Good luck on your journey this has been a experience of a lifetime!

i Tried to start a part time position at a local call center. The training was not that great. Very pushy people and stressful! Not what I am looking for a part- time gig in retirement! Life too short for their nonsense!! I am still hoping and praying God will find a place for me for just a few more years!!
