I couldn't get the I-pad to turn on to run a purchase on the credit card swipe. The computer itself wouldn't come up at all, so I had to explain to the patron who wanted to make a purchase from the gift shop that they would need to pay with either cash or check. They were very congenial and were able to pay the old way. It was frustrating to me to not be able to use the credit card purchase equipment, although I found out later that the computer was very old. It was not an extremely stressful situation, mostly just embarrassing.
