Recruiter vs HeadHunter
What’s the difference between a Recruiter and a Headhunter? Which is a better option for a jobseeker with limited financial resources?

Hi Richard, That's a great question and there are a lot of different opinions on it. I would say that a "Recruiter" typically works for a specific company and handles the entire Recruiting/Interview process while a "Headhunter" is typically hired to only find the talent and then the company handles the rest of the process. In almost all cases, there should be no need for you to spend any money on your search. Headhunters make money by placing people like yourself in jobs and they are paid by the company that hires you. Recruiters are typically working for the company and are being paid to manage the entire process as well. Please let me know if you have any questions about this, but the main takeaway is that you should not be paying money for people to help you. Good luck! -Mark
