Perfect part-time job for me would be editing, proof-reading, or writing.
Worked three years as speech writer for Chief, Naval Reserve, RADM Daniels, and was told that was equal to a college degree. Can't tell you how much I learned on a daily basis from several PHDs on staff!

I worked a continuous 36 years for the Federal government before retiring at age 55. My husband was in the USCG and I was employed by the U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy and Army Corps of Engineers during my career, working in security, finance, engineering, medical, procurement, personnel, and public affairs fields.
