We are her heroes
So I’ve been a driver for Waste Management for a yearish now and I love it. My coworkers are great, the pay and benefits are good, and the work isn’t too bad. I’ve definitely had worse jobs for less money. A new family just moved into a house on our route and they have a 6 year old girl who LOVES watching us when we come by. She waits by the front door to come out and just waves at us and jumps up and down. It’s adorable. I spoke to her dad for a few and he said she is just fascinated by the truck and the ‘garbage guys’. It put a smile on our face and gives us all something to look forward to!!

Thank you for sharing such a cheering story! It's really great when you know you're making the world a better place (which you are). On one of my recent jobs, I helped improve the computer system that people use to get professional licenses. It was wonderful to hear from users how much easier the new system was to use.
