What kind of job.

Hello everyone, I'm Deborah. I'm currently employed as a bartender. I've been there 17 years. I still love the job, but the owner of the place I work at has some issues.I just can't take it anymore. It's emotionally stressful, and financially terrifying. So , I have been looking for other work. But, as I'm doing So, I have no idea what kind of job I want. I know that sounds stupid. I'm college educated and a former constable. Any suggestions on how to find a job that fits me?

That sounds like a horrible environment to work in, but if you still love your job despite everything then maybe it's your passion. Maybe consider moving into a more creative side of bartending and getting more into the realm of mixology. If that idea doesn't speak to you, maybe you could look into a related position that allows you to use your experience as a head bartender. I think the real question for you is if you have something in your mind when you think of other careers you could be pursuing. If you can't think of anything and bartending still makes you happy, I'd recommend you stick with that, just in a new environment and an upgraded position that reflects your experience.

Then just apply for another gig....I dont see the issue.. .venting is OK at times but it doesn't change a thing! Actions can change your circumstances!
