I'm in a dilemma, do i stay or do i go?
Should I consider leaving a full time direct hire that I started 45 days ago that I am not happy with as it isn't what I was lead to believe, over to a 6 month contract job and likelyhood will be extended or possible brought in as direct hire, as a Lead and that I'll be making $25K more than what I make now. I am fully capable of this new Lead job, as I was before last summer. Phone interview went very well today and now I'm scheduled for face to face interview at end of this week. So no final decision with them or myself, yet. What do you think?

Until you have a written offer in your hand, you do not have the second job. You think you will get it. But it is not a done deal. Ask yourself before changing jobs what exactly is wrong with the current job? Can it change? What happens when you change jobs and are bored to pieces in 60 days?
Wait until hired at the other job before leaving

Go where ur heart is at, because it sounds like u want the lead position. I would go with the contract position. You do not know where that’s is going to lead u too.
Hello Jason? Well I personally would go with my inner gut on the final decision. I believe you should pretty much be clear on what you want to do after the interview.
How are you? Fine I hope. I would go to the face to face meeting as see if you get the job conclusively and go from there. I see you said you were not happy at the job you have now but it is a job. If you get the chance to do something totally spontaneous for something you want badly make sure its a real deal. Then if it is, go all in and make yourself proud/happy! Life is too short to be unhappy. Go to the contract job, work hard and i hope it will be extended for you, If you are really very unhappy in your current role then it is worth the risk. Best of luck to you.
