What a strange trip it's been! Babysitter -> camp counselor -> fencing instructor -> construction worker -> sales associate -> retail floor manager -> recruiter -> HR manager -> HR consultant -> recruiter -> HR director (at the best place in the world. yes, it's jobcase)

Dishwasher > Waiter > Cook > Movie Store Stocker > Marketing Intern > Waiter > Accounting Intern > Weight Room Staff > Office Operations Intern > Business Technology Intern > Business Technology Analyst > Management Consultant > Small Business Owner > Finance Senior Manager > Growth Marketing Lead > Marketing Operations Manager > Community and Growth Director

My biggest lessons are:

  1. Treat every job as a learning opportunity even if it isn't an ideal long term fit
  2. Bring your best self to work and always be helping someone while expecting nothing in return.
  3. Keep complaining to a minimum and be grateful for what you have because there are other people worse off than you

paperboy, stockperson, auto assembly line worker, office admin, construction site engineering co-op, construction estimator, business process consultant, software consultant, project manager, strategic projects director, vp technical operations vp customer operations leading a team that gets people jobs!

Job I think the most about - working on an assembly line making steering linkage in 100 degree heat at 6am, covered in grease and breathing in fumes all day. It was an amazing job to help someone pay for school and has always made me think about how I can do something better, faster or easier!
